In short: This website sets no cookies and uses no comparable technologies such as tracking pixels or browser storage. That is why there is no cookie banner – there is nothing you need to agree to.
1. Introduction
This cookie policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are and whether and how we use them on ts-rethwisch.de. The relevant laws are Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device via your browser. On your next visit, they can be sent back to the server of that website or to third parties – for example to remember settings, count visits or recognise you for advertising.
3. What are scripts?
Scripts are program code that makes a website interactive. Our scripts run exclusively in your browser and come exclusively from our own server. They only control the display (menu, expandable questions, animations) and the enquiry form. They store nothing on your device and send no data to third parties.
4. What is a web beacon?
A web beacon (also called a tracking pixel or pixel tag) is an invisible image or text fragment used to record visits to a page. We do not use web beacons.

5.1 WhatsApp and LinkedIn
You can reach us via WhatsApp and LinkedIn. Both services are included on our site only as ordinary links – not as a plugin, chat window or share button. No connection to WhatsApp or LinkedIn is therefore made and no cookie is set when you open our site. Only when you click on one of these links do you leave our site; WhatsApp or LinkedIn may then set their own cookies. Their policies apply:

6. Cookies placed
No cookies are placed on this website – neither by us nor by third parties. Local storage, session storage and similar storage are not used either.

Consent under Section 25 TDDDG is only required if information that is not strictly necessary is stored on or read from your device. Since we do not do this, we do not show a cookie banner. Should we include services that set cookies in the future (e.g. a map, a video or an embedded LinkedIn post), we will ask for your consent beforehand and update this policy.
8. Managing and deleting cookies in your browser
Independently of our site, you can set your browser to delete cookies automatically or manually, block them in general or only store them after asking you. Your browser’s help explains how to do this. Our site works fully in any case.
9. Your rights
Your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as your right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, are described in our privacy policy under No. 7 and 8.
